I was going to suggest that "Brown-haired beardy man with widow's peak" was the Thedasian equivalent of, like, a Monet waterlily painting or something, and everyone has prints, but this is a much better explanation. :::PPP
>You say Bartrand is "mad..." Sometimes the purple options would sound cleverer if we hadn't just asked a bunch of questions that rendered the jokes a bit late to the punch. :P ? Hey, Varric, I found you an armor upgra- ... not the right moment for celebration, huh? (ominous horror movie creaking) Ohh, dear. Hey - come back here! STAY STILL SO I CAN KICK YOUR ASS Varric, I know you want to fight your brother, but you have a CROSSBOW and he has KNIVES - maybe back up a little??? He spends the last third of the fight chasing after Varric, which is almost certainly a consequence of the NPC AI and not programmed in, but still sort of alarming.
Well, at least he's not delinquent in putting up pictures of Sir Wallace Kirkwall and his large-eared husband who looks like he's sniffing a fart. There's even more copies of them!
>put him out of his misery. (fffff i hope this option is sympathetic and not aggressive in the actual dialogue)
>Put him out of his misery. ...Dear Dragon Age 2, when I clicked "put him out of his misery," I meant "put him out of his misery," not "get revenge on him." :| >_?
ok, so, I picked that option and took screenshots, but then I spilled a glass of water on my laptop like a dumbass SO there may be a delay in posting <- me with any glass of liquid
Super late and probably super out of the mood by now, but all I could think at "Bianca's been missing him something awful"... Spoiler: gif
(pokes at laptop) (tentatively puts battery back in) IT'S ALIIIIIIIVE!!!! ... also, i should have cleaned it at some point in the past five years, jesus. the water went into the keyboard and then as it came out it took dirt with it, so i GUESS that's a way to clean it, but i don't recommend it. :| :|
>You're right. Spoiler: Codex - Armor of the Overseer The Overseer was a nickname given to Magister Claudian Vyrantus, the last and perhaps most notorious of those assigned to the Maharian jetstone quarry outside of Kirkwall(now known locally as the Bone Pit). The magister was known for his sadistic cruelty. His malevolent social experiments were designed to make examples of those who disobeyed him. Vyrantus even noted that feeding slaves to his pet dragonlings was "little more than they deserved." The slave revolt in 25 Ancient put an end to the Overseer. He was assaulted by a mob of slaves who stripped his enchanted robes and threw Vyrantus into the Bone Pit to be feasted upon by his dragonlings. What became of his robes during all the chaos is unknown, but it is assumed they remain in Kirkwall. — From Kirkwall: the City of Chains, by Brother Genitivi, 9:24 Dragon >_?
