Since red lyrium is Blighted lyrium, it could be that the reason Anders could temporarily clear it up is because he's also a Grey Warden? And he specifically says red lyrium crazy isn't quite like a spirit.

I want to go binge our DAO and inquisition threads after this one is done, but I'm afraid they will be too long by then D:

Still, I headcanon them as all the same universe. Tho I don't know if whoever is running the DAI thread is carrying over their old saves or not.

 

I don't think either the DA:O or DA:I threads are currently updating - not that they're Officially Canceled Forever, necessarily, just that they're on hold at least for now, or the people are busy or stressed, or similar.

If I ever actually finish this game, and if @OnnaStik doesn't mind, I might try to do an Inquisition LP with our!Hawke as the save file. I think the worldstate in this DA2 game is the default one? But I'm not positive.
