>Hawke: Cautiously approach She beckons us closer, then tilts her head back and forth, staring. Uh - alright.
>Investigate >Were you expecting me? (I just think it's cool how the dialog options change after the >Investigate options - I'm not sure it actually changes what Hawke says out loud, but it gives the illusion of a more continuous conversation. They don't change normally; this is the first conversation I've noticed it in.) >Investigate >What does the amulet do? must you be so vague and ominous >Investigate >Why bring the amulet here? is "these Dalish" the PC term ha ha well, we are the PC and we are using it Such a serious face! >_?
My vote's also on >I always repay dragons. 'Cause, you know, that seems like a pretty good rule to live by.
>I always repay dragons. (Huh, maybe the different Investigate options *do* change what Hawke says. Anyway I love this.) That's.. more than I thought I had to do, but okay. Dragons. ...???
Glowy things; strange noises. >Investigate >Who are you? >Investigate >Why leave your clan? >Did you do something wrong? (Hawke, you're SO NOSY) >Investigate >What was that?
>Investigate >What's the matter? (The purple option before asking all these questions was "I like your rambling" which is.. adorable..) >_?
(Imgur's letting me upload stuff again, so I'm switching back there for now 'cuz Photobucket has a storage limit.) >There's opportunity. We've already made her wait for at least a year... >Investigate >Tell me about this rite. (thunder rumbles ominously in the background) >Investigate >You know about my task? >Investigate >Have you met Asha'bellanar? Maybe.. we should.. hurry up the mountain. >I'm ready to go.
As soon as we set off up the mountain, a bunch of corpses appear out of the ground to attack us. They are quickly dispatched. Merrill helps. >Investigate >What about demons? AT THIS POINT - okay, I probably should have mentioned this earlier - it is time to explain why people are so scared of mages, why the templars have so much societal sway, etc. It's not just that mages can set people on fire with their minds or whatever, although I doubt that helps. It's that if a demon comes to a mage, in their sleep or when they're awake, and tricks or convinces them to give their , the demon possesses them and can turn them into a big unstoppable magic-fueled engine of destruction and fuckeduppery. Most mages live in Circles, where they're observed by Templars and taught to fear demons; Hawke doesn't (that's why she's an apostate and why the templars are after her), and neither does Merrill. [/exposition] >Investigate >What about Templars? [Halla = big white deer that pull the Dalish sledges around.] >_?
