why is there such a contrast of brightness between the shots looking at hawke and those looking at the bag-eyed woman? it feels unnatural to me.

 

LMAO apparently if we were a diplomatic or aggressive Hawke we could give an inspiring speech/threaten the guys to join us.

I think it's because she's behind the rock while the sun is shining on us, but if we're not sufficiently behind cover to be in the shade, one would think we would be getting shot at. :P

The name Evets Marauders bothers me SO MUCH... is the guy named Evets? Is he named Evet? It should be either Evets's Marauders or Evet's Marauders!!! Is he actually called Evets Marauders and then he leads the Evets Marauders and it's like "this is Bob, leader of our fearful band of criminals, the Bob" (not the BOBS because then it would have to be THE EVETSES MARAUDERSES I THINK).

... I... need to get this out of my system...

 

I'd parsed Evets as some local region-name-- they're marauders whose usual hunting ground is Evets, not lead by someone named Evet(s).

 

Don't we KILL a guy named Evets afterward tho?
