Yeah, the dog helped me not have to run as MUCH because he wasn't constantly chasing me, but I did circuits of the room when I did it the first time without the dog DLC. I ended up running a little bit this time, but only while healing and/or mind blast and/or winter's grasp were on cooldown.

 

That guy in the middle looks like Carver and Severus Snape had a baby. And a swear the lady on the left and the second from the right have exactly the same face.
