Do we have the option to just glare at Anders without talking to him? Some pa thing of "you didn't talk to me, I don't want to talk to you," or do we have to talk to them all?

 

None of those are great, but I think blue is the least bad, if you imagine her saying it in an exhausted and resigned tone of voice.

Sticking with the same active party, but I believe the rest keep showing up as allies, so.

 

Flying templars are kind of a theme, apparently.

Me @ mage defense forces: Maybe this would go better if you got up on the walls and nuked them from above instead of trying to cast spells from melee range while being stabbed?

 

I can't imagine they were being taught much in the way of battle tactics in that Circle.

Well, this seems to have gone basically as badly as it could possibly have gone.





There's a magical wall of fire separating me from like half my allies and also a bunch of mages and templars. Can I help -- oh, ok, I guess the mages are fleeing. Try to.. stay safe??? Out there??? Honestly I would like to Also Be Fleeing.

This boss fight is, like, 90% gratuitous blood particle effects.

And as soon as you put down the big guy he turns into this Alien-ass jumping thing?


And there are CORPSES and ARCANE HORRORS and A PREPOSTEROUS AMOUNT OF BLOOD and basically i hate this



Then he turns BACK into the big one..

Just die already!!

 

I know, right? I came back to this like "ugh this dumb fucking twist I hate it" but that and his delivery on "why don't they just drown us as infants?" have made me hate it.. SLIGHTLY less.

This fight is doing a lot to make me hate it again though. :P

 

OH SHIT THE MURDER KNIFE MAKES A TRIUMPHANT CAMEO!! I thought we weren't going to see it because we spared Anders. (The murder knife is my favorite Dragon Age NPC.)

I did not take screenshots of every stab, but rest assured there is a lot of stabbing.

 

Wow, Orsino is really good at blood magic.

...I would like to know why he's attacking us and not the templars, though
