Oh man, I romanced [redacted] in Origins, and I got to Isabela and I was like, "I AM GOING TO ROMANCE HER!!!" but then Bird was like, "She is literally a female version of [redacted] like don't you want to try something different," and I was like, "Yeah, you're probably right," so then I Merrill'd.

(What can I say, people who are overly flirty to keep people from actually getting close to them are apparently my jam. ...Goddammit, that's why Iron Bull's my fave, isn't it?)

So, should we go chat with Merrill? Should we go on Loose Ends because we resolved to, or Bait and Switch because it will get us a companion? Or one of the other quests that I can't be bothered to copy and paste in here? Go attend a duel? Scour the streets of hightown for more quests? et cetera.

To be honest I can't tell if she's.. wearing pants..? EDIT: No, she is not wearing pants. EDIT 2: I just read some well-considered character meta about her outfit, which was fine but which I could not take seriously due to its repeated use of the phrase "Isabela's lack of pants"

Anyway, whatever we do, we will likely do it tomorrow, because [family member] has locked herself in the room with the PC. :P Wistfully I remember the days when it was in the back room and was generally accessible.

 

I am all for doing Isabela's quest so we can have a party full of beautiful and strong ladies :P

Okay, so, I went and swapped out Anders for Merrill at one of the rad, weirdly sparkly party-change stations. And Carver for Aveline, while we're at it, in celebration of being near the possibility of the all-lady party.

(We don't have to go by Merrill's house to pick her up, we can just use one of these things.)

Have I mentioned the fact that this quest is called "Fools Rush In?" Not worrying at all.

Yes, there are a really enormous amount of random gangs attacking you when you go anywhere at night.
