Act of Mercy! And I think having Anders for that one is pretty cool. And Isabela approves of certain options. 3rd party member, IDK.
Hey guys, I've decided to make some pretty big changes in the way this thread is run! You may know I'm a big fan of procedurally generated storytelling - basically AI writing. Here are some cool examples: one, two. Over the last couple weeks I've been working on a bot that will choose the most optimally-interesting DA2 dialog choices, and it will be mostly replacing you all! It's decided to start with turning Merrill in to the Templars and kicking Fenris out of the party - guess AI storytelling priorities are different than human ones, ha ha! :D Screenshots coming soon. More explanation of the coding behind this project .. under the cut: Spoiler: Tricky Coding Deets APRIL FOOLS GUYS the recommended procgen stories are actually really cool projects, though, and I recommend them
Ehhh, DA2 is close enough to fantasy tabletops :P our druid successfully bluffed mid-battle to appear as a Perfectly Normal Bird, so apparently she's fighting a spectacularly stupid demon-analogue
Ok, back to for-real non-April-Fools' gameplay! I started up the game to start Isabela's quest, but Merrill was in my house: >Let's hear it. >_?
> Don't keep him waiting. Spoiler Am now picturing the Dread Egg running away from a dog through the Fade, screaming. It is a good picture.
BTW... When I noticed this glitch I thought for a second the dog had a fifth foot coming down from its junk. :::PPP
@wix I've never seen it either! ... although I never had the dog mod before, haha. >Don't keep him waiting. <3_<3
>Hawke: To the Hanged Man! In the bar: Sorry, speed griffon man. Meanwhile in our party: kitten kitten kitten kitten #kpda2banter #isabela+merrill
Spoiler Now picturing Solas screaming and flailing with a dog latched firmly onto his leg and just kinda... hanging out there. Chillin' despite the flailing. Taking in the sights. Not looking particularly inclined to let go.
>Sounds like a plan. >Investigate >Why leave the raiders? oh, i thought it was a weird graphics glitch. >Investigate >How did you lose the cargo?
>Investigate >You mentioned raiders. >Investigate >Can't you do this yourself? ok, i feel slightly bad for asking this question now >Investigate >What's the cargo? >_?
