6 or 4, because 4 might lead to some discussion of the whole "not actually a qunari" thing? maybe?
Not 4, because how can we expect anyone else to get it right if we don't.
6! I agree with @Wiwaxia , Wren is Vashoth, doesn't follow the Qun and there's Vashoth of basically any religion (including none at all)
>I don't know. (It's been like five minutes! Give me a moment! And maybe some religious instruction because I'm pretty sure I never actually learned a damn thing about this with the Valo-Kas!)
she's all noble and troubled and stuff aaaaaa
Anyway, that's the end of the conversation for now. Among the tents, there's a box full of vitaar for some reason.
...well, by numbers, this one's better than what we've got. On the other hand, what we've got gives us that awesome Furiosa look, whereas this stuff is... very, very yellow. Like. I don't have a good cap of it, but I'll be trying to get one so you can see.
numbers before swag, this ain't sparrow hawke, wren is a practical inquisitor
(also i like yellow :P)
Are you dying all the time?
If not, then furiosa death-paint is good enough, keep it.
I've already put on the Deathroot stuff in the hopes of at least getting a good screenshot of it. And it probably won't be long till we find an upgrade from it, tbh.
I go and talk to the shopkeeper next because why the hell not.
>Why have you stayed?
>How is the mood here?
Eh, we're used to it.
Stay tuned next for: Varric Tethras and the HOLY CRAP SO MANY DA2 SPOILERS THIS DORF IS A WALKING FUCKING SPOILER
(Honestly, I may just spoiler-cut most of the conversation!)
If you're still unspoiled on the climax of da2 and you're hanging out in the da2 thread, your potential future surprise is a rare and valuable resource :D and so if you can manage to resist the temptation, do!
Amusing chatter on the way:
And then, to the Spoiler Dorf.
Now, there are some aspects of the whole premise of Inquisition that are somewhat spoilery. But the following conversation is more or less "Please recap the entire plot of the previous game for me, Varric!" and I really do advise that anyone experiencing DA2 for the first time over in @blue's thread just not open these spoiler boxes. Everything will still make sense.
>I have questions about Hawke.
Spoiler: Orsino's fate made no sense.
Disapprove all you want, fucker, it's TRUE.
BUT WE WERE WINNING THO
Spoiler: You made up the Arishok fight.
He does this amazing growly Qunari voice on that, I love it.
Spoiler: Where are Hawke's friends?
This all sounds extremely in character for everyone.
That last one drops us out of the conversation, but I did have one more thing I wanted to ask:
Spoiler: Tell me about red lyrium.
Spoiler: What is it, exactly?
...several dozen times more awesome and the namesake of a cool video game series?
Spoiler: What can it do?
>Why was it in the temple?
Okay, that does it. First order of business for the Inquisition is to find a therapist. Or several. Cullen first, but Varric should be pretty high on the list as well.
By the way, that conversation gave us a quest: Find and destroy red lyrium deposits. This will make Varric happy. :D
Now. We said we'd talk to the quartermaster?
Those "oxmen mercenaries" would be the Valo-Kas, Wren's old company, hired to be a neutral security force at the Conclave. They are, of course, ALL DEAD NOW except for her.
Threnn is being amazingly thoughtless here, is what I'm saying.
Yes. I am. As evidenced by my not being a charred corpse.
...Maybe Wren should get in on that whole "therapy" thing too.
lol, sadly I've already done some asking of questions.
>What is your job? (What exactly do you do around here, so that I might decide if you're important enough to get away with your bullshit?)
You're practical. I'd like you, if you weren't also a dick.
>How did you end up here?
"for the love of Andraste, get this asshole out of here"
2, because i am still feeling mean and petty
>No wonder you're unpopular.
(Guess Wren's more informed about Fereldan politics than I'd expected!)
You're just proving my point about your attitude, you know.
Maybe you shouldn't talk at all.
I ask a couple questions about requisitions, but that's mostly gameplay stuff and I'm not planning on doing it anyway and she manages not to say anything hideously dickish, so I didn't see the point of capping it.
Strictly speaking not a companion, but no way am I not going to talk to Leliana.
I don't want to spoil this poignant moment, but: behold the deathroot vitaar. One thing I will say for it- seriously fierce eyeliner.
AAAAAAH DON'T ASK ME THIS I'M JUST BARELY PAST THE STAGE OF "WHAT'S AN ANDRASTE"
Yeah, I noticed a few of those things when they were 1: slowly killing me, 2: full of demons trying to kill me, and 3: many of them belonging to everyone I know.
Leliana goes between Cullen and Varric on the therapy priority list.
