this is true! sadly, I have no capability for this. others might, but then the question becomes 'how do we get contact to the people who don't have that know-how and thus tell them where to go if electricity is gone?' another thing I'm thinking about: how quickly does the breakening happen, and what happens with, say, places in the center of a landmass with no water around them except maybe lakes? does the breakening happen all at once, or is it a gradual thing that starts on the edges of landmasses and works its way in? if it's a thing that happens all at once, do the gaps between the breaking landmasses immediately become filled with water, or what?
