If we're going by game logic, it could be that the letters just had a blank spot that got filled in as soon as his name settled.
It's game logic all the way down His name was retroactively John after being named. Or, his name was John but the naming ceremony had the chance of retroactively changing it. Like if the player had named him what they wanted.
where in the world are the poor schmucks who were so apathetic about being named that they bear the bullshit names. what are their lives like. what if someone became president or high offices with bullshit names.
has this been posted? it's okay if it has been honestly because look. look at it. the other kid's name is even john. it's so good.
but now, the important questions; if you fill your sylladex with puppies does it technically become a fetch modus? (mmm, yeah. sylladex full of puppies. leave me alone I had a rough day at work)
Sylladices, my favorite game mechanic that kinda just stopped mattering. (I know that they didn't become completely irrelevant, but.... I just love all that boring early-game stuff. Fussing with sylladices, alchemizing shit, Sburb mechanics.)
also, imagine the references in popular culture it would bring! all the poor singers and songwriters who have to find good rhymes for the word 'sylladex'
Slick is dead, as far as we know. Got his head chopped off for n o r e a s o n That's probably Noir, and it's possible Clover sent it to Ms Paint's phone
...oh, so the guy who murdered most of the carapaces on a whim gets to wander around as he likes! Great. (HI I'm still bitter about the wasted story potential for spades slick.)
...except one of them was decent enough, for a jack noir, and actually seemed to bond with karkat, and this one murdered his way through three planets.
