He's on their side, he gets his revenge, karkat fulfills an arc of learning that bloodthirstiness is not the end all be all of heroism and what he should be and gets closure for feeling betrayed back when JN murdered his dreamself, karkat gets to PARTICIPATE IN the final battle instead of being shoved off to do nothing and only win a trivial joke battle, it's something going wrong in Vriska's plan...)

I think that is actually Spades Slick. The one who died in Collide was Billiards Slick/Jack English, i.e. B2 Jack, whereas Spades Slick (A2 Jack) is the current Felt leader and the protagonist of the Intermission.
No? B2 Jack, Spades Slick, from the intermission, cyborg Spades, got his head cut off by Dave in the same attack that decapitated A2 Lord English Jack and Dirk. The only surviving Jack was A1 Jack, who had his arm cut off by PM and suffered no other consequences for his murders.
Yeah. You can tell by how he's still wearing the same scrap of motley he's been in since he stole the ring from the Black Queen. Slick never wore anything like that because there were no jester prototypings in the troll session.

...yep I was mixing up a2 and b2. So: Cyborg Spades slick was from A2 troll alternia session. Bec Noir was from B1 beta human session. LE Jack was from B2 alpha human session.
