you know, I just noticed that a bunch of the panels that show earth-c post waterpocalypse usually include a couple of dolphins in the underwater scense, so I'm going to assume that dolphins are doing just fine on the re-populated earth-c, too. imagine the possible interactions between trolls and dolphins! there is so much oportunity for hilarity. also, it would be pretty funny if the trolls kept trying to recreate alternian ocean fauna, but the dolphins kept killing it off
