Speaking of, friend decided Ricard Addams and Duglas Addams should be dancestors.

 

Can trolls mutate to have just one horn right in the middle of their heads?

Thought; presumably on Beforus the ceruleans weren't supposed to feed live trolls to their lusii, but it's established by Rufioh that Beforan trolls do HAVE lusii. So what happened with them? I wonder.

 

maybe they used recently dead people, like a funeral service type thing?

 

Wildlife, maybe?

 

For that matter, why did Spidermom specifically need to eat trolls? Is this Vriska being a lot more evil than we thought because she could have hunted animals, or was there something else stopping her from doing so?

I honestly assumed that spidermom was the type of lusus that would "accidentally" face a tragic end (read: killed for the public good) and then aranea/vriska/etc would get culled and taken into another older troll's care

I always assumed that....Beforan lusii wouldn't even be like spidermom--aka, she didn't exist, or if she did, she was vegetarian or ate the same food as trolls who consumed meat would eat. but re: Vriska--I figured that it was 'normal' or expected for trolls with carnivorous lusii that the troll would have to feed to kill trolls, or the lusii of other trolls, to feed to your own lusus. it increases the danger/competitive nature of living on Alternia. and if I recall correctly, for at least part of her life, Vriska hunted with Eridan, taking trolls whose lusii he killed for Gl'bgolyb, which is....actually probably not the worst thing ever, because if you kill a troll's lusus on Alternia, now they're basically doomed to die sooner or later, on their own with no one to help them and no lusus.

 

Yeah since iirc lusii are implied to be bioengineered I figured Beforus just... didn't engineer troll-eaters as lusii.

 

I know Crabdad was bioengineered or specially bred, where's it implied that the others are? I don't recall.

 

I'm thinking when Condesce brought them to the alpha kids' earth, but I may be remembering wrong/confusing canon with fanon

what if: 'sprite' becomes a species in the next world, like weird naga-y creatures, and so the sprites become non-game sprites?
