Some friends and I are doing a literary dissection of Homestuck. The term "spork" is used here not in the sense of cruel mockery, but in the sense used at Das Sporking, where the work is analysed to pick what works out of what doesn't. Entirely opinion-based, obviously, but if anyone's interested it's there.
Thing which amused me; friend pointed out that Dave and John's conversation about the apple juice urine prank is weird because anyone with a working sense of smell would easily be able to tell the difference. My first thought; "be fair, according to the art Dave and John don't have noses".

there's something called homestuck redraw where artists can claim a page and do the redraw page of the known webcomic: Homestuck I don't know much about the details for this project, because i'm too busy rn, but I figure some folks here might be interested! RN I think they're focusing on act one, and just as long as you aren't hogging the pages, you can do as many as you like Eta to clarify what I meant by hogging, like claiming a bunch of pages all at once and not really doing them or reserving them for much later, or picking all the best ones all at once
