This is what Homstuck has come to. Whatever bizarre shit we say we just go "I wouldn't be surprised" or "I seriously believe that it could happen". Though really hasn't it always been that.
I think we passed that line a long time ago. At the very least when it turned out that one of the main villains is Betty Crocker who is also an alien empress who put juggalos in the presidency and put subliminal messages out to make humans stop procreating.
I mean. I'm sure there was some surprise I felt, early on in reading? but that has long since died. Hussie could do anything and I'd just be like "....yeah, that's Homestuck."

I am desperately hoping that, years in the future, Homestuck will be as adapted as like. War and Peace, or Shakespeare. With a musical and a movie and an opera and a ballet.
John does something, but that's never brought up again and the rest is just some wrap-up and THE END and everyone's super frustrated until someone notices that the entirety of act 6 has been replaced with a rewritten version to take the whole retcon bullshit to it's ultimate meta conclusion. "Psyche! I actually haven't done any work on act seven. also, here's a suggestion box to submit completed pages. have fun." "To be continued..." Full on ARG to find and/or write the final conclusion.
