(Looking at you, One Of Our Submarienes, Serendipity Gospels, Jade Harley and the Rise of the Underworld. ) Especially with all that Greater Self and 'you are the sum of all the timelines you've encountered' stuff brought into the narrative I just feel... the real homestuck was the fanfiction we wrote along the way. That's what I'm trying to get at. The fandom has been so fulfilling that I don't care that the real authentic homestuck left maybe a few dozen balls drop. That's already been done, and well. I love everyone in this bar.

But did she fuck Porrim, mother of the half trolls? Of course. Porrim has banged everyone and everything that isn’t Scratch and LE. Rose? Fucked that and died because of it. Then fucked Kanaya. John? Hell yes. The GHB? Yeah. Even the Handmaid has not gone unfucked." Basically how do you write the story of someone who's grandest achievement is in removing herself name and all from relevance. Possibly? Hrmm. That is a very good idea. Going out and fucking shit up and making a bargain. And then just being erased as part of the bargain. Another possibility is to make use of the fact that some things do get lost. Crom Cruach is a god we know very little about, but that hasn't stopped people from worshiping him. Hell, we don't even have any stories about him that don't involve St. Patrick fucking his shit up! Though honestly this is my least favorite possibility. Since I want the fact that she is unknown to be a big part of why she's still revered. Unless I guess the destruction of her name and symbols and such just gets appropriated by her cults as being a sign of her greatness. There's also the thing about...Titles? And roles? Like in Buddhism Indra/Sakka isn't just one individual dude. Indra is a title that comes with an associated body of stories, traits, tools, and responsibilities. Basically we cycle on through Indras. As each Indra dies another stands up to take up his role, all of his shit being brought with him. So we actually know very little about the individuals who are Sakka. We just know about the Role. Then I guess there is like what Lain did at the end of SEL. Wherein she just...removed herself? She's still doing things but she isn't part of the world and no one remembers who she is. So many possibilities...
Homestuck has finally gone Full Anime, as we have always known it would. I am so, so proud of it. ...I *still* don't quite get the stable time loops and I still want to see more epilogue, but for now, I'm glad you're all here with me. Here at the end of all things.

I watched it just now and I'm??? I don't know how to feel but mainly, I think, I just feel sad. Spoiler The art was beautiful, the music gave me chills and nearly made me cry, but it just feels... empty? Like it was all building up to something and then that something never arrived and now I'm just, ok but what? I'm sad - not angry, but definitely sad - about the lack of a last-minute twist. We've been winding down for the past few upd8s and I really wanted one last spike of ohshitguys before the end, you know? I don't know. I'm conflicted. And really sad. (that being said, I still love Homestuck. This does in no way diminish my love for the comic/concept as a whole and I still have mad respect for Hussie as a creator. I'm just... sad.)
