Nepeta aesthetic more like: cats, cats, large dead animals she killed with her bare hands, cats, a cup of tea with blood on the handle, a pile of sketchbooks with a drawing tablet on the top, a dark cave with mysterious eyes peering from the depths, ridiculous teen yaoi, a close up of a cats eyes, the picked clean skeleton laying in the forest, cats

 

What the hell do dollar bills have to do with Nepeta's aesthetic. What the. This is just a collection of green images the mod likes, isn't it?

 

It's just...a Slytherin aesthetic but applied to Nepeta? What.

It is just green images. That's it, that's the theme.

 

It's not even the right green. Most of those are Kanaya or Terezi colors.

 

I am confused by the ocean too. Like there are trolls with ocean and oceanfaring themes and it's not the catgirl?

 

Also most of those photos remind me more of kanaya or tbh... No one at all.

Like- I don't know Porrim terrifically well, because I haven't spent much time with the dancestors, but like-

There isn't much to know about Porrim really. She was there like three times and that's it. Something about a lot of that just feels very Maryam in general though.

UGH I love Of Gods and Witches, Renewed Return, Lilith in Starlight, and Conclude feels like fucking disney or pixar score it's so nice. Nothing yet has usurped Savior of the Dreaming Dead and Heir of Grief as my favorites yet, but there's a lot of nice stuff on this album.

I'M ALWAYS A SLUT FOR STRINGS GIVE ME MORE LIVE VIOLIN, VIOLA, AND CELLO PLZ.

 

THIS Pumpkin has PS-esque art and it makes me so happy. This album gave me a lot of feelings!! Other people have touched on Beatdown DX and Lilith In Starlight but I want to mention You Killed My Father (Prepare To Die) because just like... wow it ties so many musical themes together so well, and I am still not over John and his dad even so many years later. Props also to Renewed Return, which incorporates some of my favorite themes and which manages to be genuinely kinda haunting. And Creata and Conclude are such good beginning/ending tracks too, like, I will be listening to those for a long-ass time. Ughhh this entire album is just sO GOOD.
