I miss low 90s tbh, it's been nothing but "95+ but feels like 100s" for a while now where I am. Before Summer's over I'm gonna look like a freakin rotisserie chicken lol

Don't get me wrong though, I'd even count as low as 85 to be hot as shit. I want spring back.

One thing I am glad of is that we don't usually have bad humidity here. If we do it's always right before a storm and then the pressure drops real fast and and THUNDER

I’m so glad I don’t work days, because even on nights I have to carry around paper towels to dry the sweat off my face every 10 minutes. the humidity is killer. and the guys at work don’t have to worry about sports bra sweat rash...

It's set to be about 28 degrees here today, which I know pales in comparison to how hot it gets in other places, but I still hate itbqirh a fiery passion. 22-24 is comfortable, if still warm for my taste. 28 is boiling in the shade :|

At least my hotel room has air conditioning. That's something.

We do not have air con here in the UK and its been at least that warm these last few days. Me and the cats have been slowly melting under the one working fan in the house and my internal systems hate everything because not only do my anti-depressants raise my natural core temperature, my shitty immune system seems to freak out at every single sudden meteorological change no matter how slight.

    My body: AHHHH ITS HOT
    Weather: Cools down somewhat
    My body: AHHH ITS COLD

So like this whole one week warm, one week cool thing we're doing atm is SUPER GREAT :/

It's boiling inside my flat, which almost never happens - usually it's freezing in here. I'd rather it was. At least I can always put more clothes ON.

It was literally that contrasted, bright 80+ sunny day and there just this WALL of darkness and we could see flickers of lightning. I wish I could have filmed it coming in, but I had to go help pack up so we could GTFO lol

It's been so humid for the last few weeks that my apartment feels clammy, I have to wrestle to get my bedroom door open and shut because it's swollen up from the damp, and my salt shaker doesn't work because the salt keeps clumping up.

My mum would always put rice in the salt shaker to osak up moisture. Maybe that'll help you?

There is rice in the salt shaker. It's just that humid, I guess.

it is currently 90. going to be over 80 until 10 pm and in the upper 70s the rest of the night. seriously considering calling out from work for nonessential reasons for the first time because welding in this? hauling around heavy pieces of steel in this? fuuuuuck that. it’s always worse inside the shop, too.

This week is solid 90s. Which would be okay except for the fact that our next project after the composting toilet is finishing the roof....
