Spoiler: my thoughts on spider man are trash I loved it exactly because it was skeevy, definitely sorta made me ship it whoops also the -drags a 15 year old into a huge conflict with life risking battling- was just on the edge of my suspension of disbelief, so that and the excellent (imo) characterization of spidey had me literally laughing out loud like every single time he said something, he may have been my favorite part of the movie i had no connection to either of the previous spider mans so that probly helped
Yyyep. I don't think it damns him forever, but it was definitely fucked up. Huh, now I'm wondering whether the Accords apply to Spidey. He is technically an Avenger, if he fights with them, but somehow I can't imagine him just signing this brick (when would have he done it, anyway?). So like, did Tony bring in not only an uninformed kid, but an uninformed, unauthorized kid? Tony pls. Tony no. Tony you're fucking this up from every angle.
i'm resurrecting this thread because i FINALLY saw the movie (i can't watch stuff in theaters cuz too autistic, have to wait for dvd) and i loved every second of it, except for the bit where steve kisses sharon and sam and bucky give him these creepy go-get-'er-tiger smiles. that was so pasted-on and i'm just ignoring it. the rest was 100% glory.
