This is the best place I can think of to place this. (I'm also dealing with an aura-only migraine too right now, so excuse me)
    So, content warning, menstruation issues.

So, about a year, two years ago, I took myself off The Pill cause I was on it originally for diagnosis purposes anyways and it was causing me depression issues. But since then, my menstrual cycle has been around 72 days, but regular 7 day periods. Except my last one. Which was 20 days long. Light flow but lots of cramping.

So I went to my doctor, who at first was like "oh, it might be your weight affecting your hormones." Cause I'm 270lbs (though, they haven't weighed me in a while, so they probably still have my weight at 260). But she ordered tests to be sure.

We just got the blood work back, and she's not sure about the results. Apparently she can't make sense of my hormones (???). So they're waiting on the results of the ultrasound (or not???) before sending in a referral to a specialist.

I just.... I've been trying not to think about it, but I had googled what it could be. So I'm facing either something benign and treatable (even lifelong) as my thyroid, to something a little more serious but operate-able, to something more serious and life threatening, like ovary cancer. It's a be prepared for the worst, hope for the best scenario, but no one will blame me if I'm scared, right?
