Yeah. There's an "ender storage" mod that lets you make chests, pouches, and tanks that are linked, and you can use those for a much cheaper way to move liquids (make two ender tanks, set to same colors, go).
i have never worked with tesseracts before by the way and only worked with an ender pump once that is why i forgot that ender pumps chunkload, too-i thought it was just the ender quarry
I just put all of my me drives in a golden bag of holding, and i'm getting an io exception every time I try to join the server. @seebs I might need help from on high.
Also, @nianeyna here are pics of a simple tesseract setup. Just make sure everything is in the same chunk. Set the tesseract to receive energy only, and send liquids only.
and @seebs this is the error i'm getting. If there isn't anything you can do on your end, you'll probably have to reset my user data. Which will mean I lose everything I have in game, as it would delete all the items in my inventory and all my stored items were in my computer - of which, all the drives are currently in a golden bag of holding. That is probably what is causing the error.
okay so I think I understand the problem: -rw-r--r-- 1 seebs seebs 37263 Mar 15 18:17 2b9a418c-a0a7-4ccb-b7fd-4878e6fa58ce.dat Your player data is about 37KB right now, the largest other data is a bit under 9KB. So! That's probably it. Question is whether I can do anything about it.
Well, sorta. Actually that's basically my attempted science: NBT editor on player data file, delete several of the things. If that works, then QR can move the other drives to a chest, and then I can redo it deleting different items, and copy that in as the dat file, and... maybe?
i don't know I've never used an NBT editor, but I think the admin of the server can still NBT editor? She'd have to maybe worldedit some chests in for all your stuff though. From now on maybe do not put lots of large inventories in another inventory-this is the same thing as the Bags Within Bags crash but with drives and bags instead of just bags.
yea, I didn't even think of that when I was doing it. I've done the bags crash before on a solo world too. Seebs killed some items from my inventory, we'll see how it works.
I'm trying to automate my Endoflames, but I can't make the hopper only drop things when there's nothing on the pressure plate, no matter what I do. Help? Spoiler: My setup The comparator is there to try to make it turn off once my mana pools are full.
It honestly is acting as though the redstone isn't there-I removed the actual redstone and the hopper acted exactly the same.
nevermind my earlier question i figured it out all the tutorials had the redstone appear to stop beside the hopper, on a block one below the hopper, but apparently it actually has to stop above the hopper on a block level with the hopper
doing some math to see how feasible it would be to power my entire base with flowers. [Edit:] In case anyone was wondering: Spoiler: Behold, Math! My goal here is 20,000 rf per second. The thermalilly is basically useless - the cooldown renders it so. The hydroangea on the other hand, we can work with. A single hyrdoangea generates 1 mana per 2 ticks. This works out to 10 mana per second. 1 mana converts to 10 rf using the mana fluxfield block. so, to generate the mana goal of 20,000 rf per second we would need 200 hydroangeas. Hydroangea aren't the best generating flower in the game though, the endoflame produces more, but the hydroangea is the easiest to maintain - I only have to provide it water, which is infinitely available. [Edit 2.0:] I'm gonna have to do more thinking on this. I do think its possible to have a purely botania setup, I think a munchdew would be more efficient at power generation, but it would require more automation, @Vast Derp has an automated tree farm that would make it a possibility. But the main reason that I wanna do this is so I never/rarely have to pay attention to power in game.
Right now? None. I turned creative mode on and played around a liiitle bit. The regen on thermalillies makes them completely useless. If more lava is added they restart their cooldown, essentially, they get an infinite cooldown for any automation technique I know of, and thats a 45 second to 5 minute on/off time. I'll probably do hydroangea in the end. They're very simple to make, easily mass producable, and I know how to make fairly large generators with them that will never have to be retouched, unless I need more power.
