...go? I... I don't go. This... this is us, now... uhm... but... we should be able to kind of. spread our perception? But. Uhmmm. You'd go out of your body, kinda? So... you'd... flop onto Lee?
Wouldn't be the first time! Corrie giggles a little, as sleepy people do, at her own dubious wit, as well as the memory of simpler times. "Yeah," she says out loud. "Sorry about getting in your face and everything there, though."
Corrie would ask why that's important, but maybe she's about to find out on her own! ...Sort of on her own. What even counts as "on her own" anymore? Anyway. "Guess we're all good then!" she chirps.
"Mmm. So." Cage says, monotone. "Come in, so we can talk about the weird bullshit, or are we going to have to talk to the landlord about the weird shit?"
Corrie looks back at Lee. He looks really very worried. She doesn't want to drag him further in than he's willing to go. "Later, maybe," she decides.
"....right. Do you both swear neither of you will talk to anyone about this unless they already know?" Cage holds out a hand to shake.
"No, I mean you can both talk to each other about this.m. or Martin, Desiree, Evelyn, Morrigan, or me... but no one else until we talk. Either by the end of the day or within a week. I think that's fair... I'm offering to explain, after all..."
Corrie grimaces. "Fine. Later, then, 'cause I am way too tired to deal with this shit right now." She takes the hand, with no enthusiasm.
"Tell me about it." Corrie offers him a tired smile. "Look, I think I can find out a little more, just promise not to freak out yet, all right? I'll have a lot to tell you once I've gotten some sleep."
"I'm not actually sure yet!" says Corrie, almost cheerfully. All right, she tells Sunshine, let's try it. (( Roll Wits 2 + Persuasion 1 + Boneyard 1 = 2 successes )) (( Expend 1 plasm: activate Phantasmal Boneyard ))
