Cage, looming behind Evelyn, gives Lee and Corrie a quiet, quizzical stare, then frowns as Martin shoves the rabbit into her arms with an enthusiastic "go sit on the couch with 'im?"
Evelyn blinks in surprise at him and the normals then begins putting herself through the doorway. " mind if I join them?"
Evelyn nods and goes to open that door, not hiding the surprise or curiosity in her eyes as she looks at Corrie and Lee.
They're here now, too? "Guess we're doing this now after all," says Corrie. She offers the newcomers a slightly sheepish smile. "Sorry we thought you were some kind of serial killer or something."
"...I free you of your obligation to hold this secret, then," Cage says, slow and a bit quizzical. "You came to talk to Martin yourselves?"
"Not really? We were going to talk to Kristoph about, uh, ghosts." As much as Corrie's managed to make herself accept the idea, saying it out loud still sounds faintly ridiculous to her own ears.
"Because I've been having a very strange week." Corrie reaches back up over her shoulder and produces the stake, then gestures with it charred-end-out by way of demonstration. "Extremely strange." ...wait, she hasn't shown Lee that yet, has she? She looks over to see how he's taking this fresh ridiculousness.
Lee lets out a confused little squawk, slumping against the couch, eyes wide. "...I think I need to sit down."
Damn it. Corrie puts away the stake again and goes to hover over her friend. "Do you want to hold the bunny? -Can he have the bunny?"
Lee gives Corrie an uncertain look, then carefully supports the bunny, burying his face in its soft fur. "...I'm... I'm okay. I'm breathing. I just. Need a moment."
"...she's fine. Just clearing the last of it from her system. You're both lucky Morrigan isn't strictly organic."
