That 2.8 sure was pretty though. I'm still playing through DDD HD (just got past the halfway point) and I'm just so happy. Partly because I get to play as Riku part of the time again, and partly cause I fucking love all the dream eaters.

I thought some of the direction choices in 0.2 were ehhh, but there were some good moments to that, too.

 

0.2 was pretty good imo, it just doesn't justify the price of admission for me. because I'm poor.

hi I'm riku and this is Wonderwall (Includes some DDD spoilers)

Aqua and Terra have some Issues okay (Made when I was still riding the FEELS coaster of BBS and way before DDD)

Kingdom Hearts was my first big fandom. It was the first one where I discovered slash - I was such trash for Akuroku you don't even, and omg I shipped Zemyx as well I RPed it so much when I was in my teens - it was the first one I published AMVs to, although they were utterly terrible and I didn't understand editing. (I have gotten better, I swear XDD)

I even met one of my first great loves through it, through FFnet and my constant trolling for anything that was pretentious and angsty (preferably both XD)

But yeah Kingdom Hearts has seen me through a great deal of darkness in my life, and it's still one of my favs.

 

I've shipped akuroku since 2006 so don't feel bad or like you are the only one. There was a five year stretch or so where I wrote a fanfic for 813 celebrations. Though these days I'm more vocal about my sorikai love because you don't get shanked on tumblr for that :P

...I also have some old terrible amvs and they are here. For the ones with multiple versions, watch the [contest versions]. I still kind of want to make more, but I don't have video software anymore. I did most of a lyricstuck for this most recent Inktober, but it's just not the same.

In all seriousness though, KH has gotten me through a lot of dark shit too, especially Riku's story over the years.

 

riku's story is so fucking important, though tbh Terra's is probably closer to my heart right now

I don't RP, but you might check out teardownheaven.tumblr.com and folks they RP with. They're a Lexaeus blog who I've always seen being very friendly with newcomers, OCs, and the like. Their writing is also quality.

My PS2 is on the verge of broken but I'm super tempted to fire it up for a KH2 round. Watching Dream Drop Distance on Youtube only made me miss the series more ;-;

In other news, while watching KH Chain of Memories for the first time on YouTube, I discovered that I loved Larxene. She's a fucking delight? And now I love Axel twice as hard after getting through BBS again because he was an adorable little fucker with frisbees as weapons, and I have always loved Aqua and /pounds fist against the table/ bring her back! Bring Roxas and Ven back! I'm ready, KH3, come on!

My brain is apparently very pumped about this, I just had a dream about KH3. In my dream at part of the game Sora already managed to free all the hearts inside of him but they're all part of your party so it was just a mass of sora, roxas, xion, ventus, and vanitas running around together like they're all controlled by the same joystick and it was hilarious.
