Glad you found him before I got to write an Oh Dear message. That'll learn ya to keep the little bugger nailed to the floor, though. I'm sure you know you'll need to keep him inside for a couple of weeks or so. Maybe give him a tinkly collar to get annoyed with for a while? Most importantly, though, he's back.
Tinkly collars are a bad idea. Because of their more sensitive hearing and it being so close to their ears, it´s basically sensory torture to a cat.
Stokes would escape, and then basically hide within five feet of whatever window or door and mew piteously.
I didn't know that. Our cat doesn't have one, never has, but I thought it might be a good idea for Rigorist's for a short while so he could hear when Trotsky was outside. Anyway, thanks for the new information.
Glad to be helpful. Sadly I´ve forgotten what "How to cat" book I got it from. (Read a lot of those when I was younger)
Reminds me of when my Loki escaped. He made it as far as the back yard, sat amongst weeds, and then just stayed there looking and sounding pathetic tip we found him.
