- your main character(s): Lukas is navy, Mathias crimson, Gull amber-red - your setting: the ocean is bluuuuuuuue - your novel as a whole: blue, silver, and red - the cover you'd put on the book: god I hate making covers. I'm using a dollmaker result of Lukas right now, so... light and dark blue, (EE-----------t3mu`````````0 ]]] p b,56B and 19 lines of blank space says JD), silver, white, and indigo.
- aiden is Blue, jordi is Red - mmmMMMM that's a good question. shades of blue and grey, i think - shades of blue and black - white/red
What a good pal :3c I should recruit Kitty... - your main character(s): Darling is mostly associated with black, though her house's livery is green and gold, so when she's being Official, she'll wear that. But mostly she's allergic to color. Maybe a little bit with red, since her hair is such a bright shade of red. Ruddock is definitely associated with red. He's in love with his red frock coat, and loves bright garish colors in general, though red is always his first choice. Hal's associated with earth tones, cause he's the mellow one. Though eventually he swaps his brown coat for a black one when it's Thematically Important. - your setting: The city of Vigil is most notable for its white walls and white palace, and white is the color most heavily associated with antagonists. Spaces the protagonists inhabit tend to be very homey colors--reds, golds, browns. - your novel as a whole: Not sure, perhaps also black, as Darling is the protag, and black/darkness representing security, safety, home, wisdom and experience is A Whole Thing. - the cover you'd put on the book: Hmm. Detailing in black, and maybe purple? The monster they fight at the end is kind of purpley.
- your main character(s) Caire: dark blues, light blues, aurora borealis/night sky type colors, silver Lilia: spring colors and autumn colors Val: orange. - your setting: different shades of green with the overlays of fall and flowers - your novel as a whole: gold and green - the cover you'd put on the book: oranges and browns and reds and golds
QUESTION 4!!! what's a "holiday" your characters celebrate? this doesn't mean the traditional suite of holidays for their world (though if those are different from the ones for our world, feel free to mention them too), this means shit like "The Day Brian Almost Burnt Off His Toes" or "Toast to the End of the Hell Year (six years and counting since The Hell Year)" EDIT: They don't actually have to celebrate or reference this holiday in-story! It can be something they would celebrate if your novel allowed the opportunity for them to do it or mention it
- yellow - dark blue? gray? prob gray, underground - red, somewhere between fire and temper and Determination - probably yellow i think i'm obligated to write out at least one timeline in which Flowey sticks around to celebrate Gyftmas with the skeletons, if only to play out him giving them various gifts to see their reactions past that, celebrating holidays during the time loops probably doesn't have much allure. i'd guess he pauses to remember dates like his first trip to the surface and all that involved, and maybe post-game everyone celebrates their first day returned to the surface so far I'm keeping up with my goals better than any year previous, so I'm happy to say that the prep work inclusion is a positive for my outlook
Me ("me"): Blue and green Wolfy ("wolfy"): Grey and amber Setting: Washed out tones Novel: storm skies Cover: white Anti-Prom, The Day of Escape, and Fuck The Wedding Day
btw where are these questions coming from is there/will there be a compilation i can steal for other wips
@Artemis I'm actually making them all up myself and I'll Probably compile them into some kind of cute graphic to post somewhere on social media
question four: "holidays they celebrate" none yet in the story, but we're going to see such things as "The Day That Bastard Who Cursed Our Husband Died" and "WE BROKE THE CURSE LET'S GET DRUNK" and also "Actual For Real Wedding Because It's Poly" there's also a whole-ass set of holidays and crap that I should write them up to celebrate, but that will be Later
QUESTION FIVE: if you had to describe each of your main characters (or all of them, I'm not telling you how to live your life) as a single handcrafted fiber art piece, which ones would you choose? yes, this can range from your standard scarf to a fucking, moebius knit cape or fair isle sweater or even just a nice set of mittens EDIT: you must also include justification for your choice. no sock shall go unproven. QUESTION SIX: "well, we brought him in for some serious crimes, sir." "what are the charges, son." "arson, murder, and jaywalking." listen. listen. I love this trope. going hard and completely failing to finish strong is almost guaranteed to get me right in the laugh zone. so for day six, pick a character and list off three of their qualities/crimes/terribilities (quality is neutral I know, but I wanted an all-bad option) in exactly this manner. alternatively, do it for your Entire Story. ALTERNATIVELY, do it for a random animal in your story and/or any or all of the above.
Me: the fuck is a fiber art ((yes I know what a fiber art is irl but as a character in this particular story....)) EDIT: alternatively, "are leather gloves a fiber?" "no" "i'm trying my best even if I'm failing" Alternatively alternatively, socks????? so many rainbow socks??? I dunno man this was a time of my life people gave me so many socks as presents Wolfy: chunky over-size sweater. The Wolf is always cold. Always. ALWAYS. and thinks is tough wolf but is actually sweet adorable wolfpuppy. The Ex is a terrible, horrible, no good very bad human being, guilty of Stalking, Assault & Battery, Physical & Emotional Abuse, and most importantly Having Stupid Hair.
@Artemis I was worried that I'd edited after you started writing, crap! unfortunately I must direct you to the addendum: you must also include justification for your choice. no sock shall go unproven.
HOW DARE eta: also this reminded me that man I really did hate his hair, how could anyone date that over me and my beautiful punk birdnest disaster
Mathias: disturbing the peace, general tomfoolery, and feral bloody murder Lukas: this boy does not Do Crimes........ hm............ library late fees, misappropriation of resources, and forgery Gulrauðr: shipwrecking, eating sapient beings, and improper use of illusion magic
aiden: a cashmere turtleneck sweater, primarily because that bitch runs around in sweaters EXCLUSIVELY and partly because rolling around in his head has the same Feel as the cashmere turtleneck i own jordi: novelty socks with knives embroidered on them. because he's also a joke, but with knives. aiden: assault, robbery, and speeding. jordi: murder, torture, and late stage capitalism.
caire: https://images4-f.ravelrycache.com/...0454/webp/cabled_20sewater_3_medium2.webp#jpg intricate, warm, pretty, probably expensive to acquire or make. very caire, he's like the "luxury few can afford" sweater sometimes lilia: https://images4-g.ravelrycache.com/...9330/webp/Four_Seasons_Cover_medium2.webp#jpg lace that tracks the paths of flora and seasons val: https://images4-g.ravelrycache.com/uploads/Knitttorious/472765062/webp/RAnger1_medium2.webp#jfif it's dark it's edgy it's His Style, and also I can see him wearing hoods in winter ivaldr (val): murder, espionage, and Orange Tomcat Crimes (he turns into an orange kitty, and I have it on several authorities that all orange tomcats have A. the idiot gene and/or B. the bastard gene)
QUESTION SEVEN: incorrect quotes time!! pick a quote (from a book, a poem, a meme, a famous person, a twitter bot—anything that's not something they actually said, basically) that you would attribute to one of your characters. if you're having fun, pick more than one! quote or character, I'm not picky.
