Hey all my name's Martin and I'm here to say that I've fallen hard back in love with Naruto in a major way I really thought this was a quick fleeting interest but it's consumed me for weeks now. Like hrgh I'm so into it again that thinking about it makes me feel sad and upset, even when I'm thinking about only happy cutesy Nart stuff??? Weird and lame It all started with one KakaGai fic, and it all snowballed from there. Exploits include Spoiler: AAAAaaa [*]Just going through ao3 for Kakagai fics [*]developed a very specific taste in how people characterize them so sometimes some fics don't cut it :( [*]I could just talk and talk about Kakagai honestly [*]got my friend back on the Naruto horse as well cause as soon as I started yammering on about Kakagai, it reminded her about 7 tails Fuu and Chomei, and also various other nart [*]we've created an indulgent giant robots fighting monsters au with the story focusing on both the 7 tails and also Kakagai (these dads are drift compatible!!!!!!!) [*]Kakagai gets 3 weddings it'll be good. [*]watching a whole lotta Naruto clips on YouTube and feeling nostalgia, exhilaration, and frustration. Thinking about all my kids [*]Made a ninjasona [*] [*]Got a diff friend to make a ninja so I can doodle us together [*]Started RPing with that friend and another friend so we have a full ninja team [*] [*] Ninja ninja ninja ninja

You know, something I absolutely wish canon Naruto had explored more was the tension between citizens and ninja. Just, how does it feel to have almost mythically strong assassins be a threat all the time if you piss off your neighbour too badly? Are they called baby killers? How does fear play out with citizens?
Well only ANBU are called baby killers, and I think canonically they’re the only ones who actually kill babies anyways

There has to be a guide somewhere for skipping the most egregious filler. That's a lot of work to put in though.
Ive seen filler skipper guides but! Theres certain filler I want to see (mostly those that Have Kakashi and Gai childhood scenes) and I have yet to find lists of 'hey this is generally useless but entertaining lol watch it' lists
