Hey guys this is Mendacity's SO. He's out of surgery and doing fine, though very very tired. It may be a few days until he's up to moving around and getting online, but hopefully he should be back on by tomorrow. Thank you for all your well wishes!

Aw your cats are trying to comfort you! It seems like a trend for cats to seek out their owners when they are recuperating from surgery. Turns out that it is likely that purring tends to promote healing in humans. And thus, it is adorable.

Your surgery and situation is hardcore, I'm glad you're out already and things look to be fine!
