Oh lord. I'm half-tempted to start a new Neopets account (because I...only half-remember either of my old ones, and it's been about a decade since I logged into either of them, so uh. Not much hope that they're even still there.) Someone talk me out of it / explain why it's a good idea.
I'm not sure whether this'll talk you in or out of making a new account, but it's a pretty quiet place these days. The new management has by general consensus been a bit of a mess, and many of the board topics are complaining about them (though i guess that hasn't changed). A few boards are still pretty lively, trades/auctions and the pound board. On the bright side, things not changing that much means that the nostalgia is incredibly potent. Some of the games are fun and i do like the challenge of earning and saving up for big things. A lot of people are clamoring for a new plot/war or something and it would be nice if that happened.
I mean I love Neopets, but it's not quite as much fun as it used to be? That might just be because most of my neofriends have moved on from the site. Maybe if we get an active enough community here, it'll go back to being fun! (Also, incentive: I'd be happy to give you some starting np to help you build your account up! :D ) ------------------------- Something Has Happened!
