It's worth noting that "THANKS SEEBS" isn't always used in the same way as "THANKS OBAMA," though, in that it can be used for good OR bad things (or neutral things, really). "My car broke down, THANKS SEEBS" is only somewhat more common than "I had a great burger for lunch, THANKS SEEBS."

 

Another forum meme: "I want to fight X with a leg of ham." Often applied to kintsugijins family members who are being awful, but can be applied to anyone being awful. Expresses outrage at that person.

 

kintsugi's search system is really dumb. it doesn't allow you to search for words under four letters and words it thinks are too common.

 

Outside those limitations I love it. But some some searches are impossible.

Why do my uploaded pictures keep coming out sideways or upside down?
There is technobabble to explain it (the site and your device are looking in different spots for the info on how to orient the image) but the really pertinent question is how to fix it.

There is a simple process to fix it, known as the unholy ritual of picture orientation, but you have to perform the rite for each picture unfortunately. On your device, rotate the image, save it, then rotate it back upright, and save it again. Upload this last version and you should be good. (you can edit an existing post to delete the old version and replace it.) As far as I can tell, it works every time.

(I have tried shortcuts, like rotating it back and forth before saving, or rotating 360^o but they don't seem to have the same effect)
