i've had a little trip down memory lane tonight, and i'm taking y'all with me: Spoiler: a bunch of images of things i used to really like watching/playing/reading so yeah, that's actually a good chunk of my childhood in picture form. that's kinda neat i guess. it's all really weird stuff too because my whole life at the time was my parents flip flopping between being super religious and not giving a fuck what media i had access to, and me being a weird kid in general. i think at least 3 things in there are super christian at almost propaganda like levels but they were still fun to read/watch, so there's that. my favorites in bibleman in particular were always the villains so i'm pretty sure little me was entirely missing the point anyways. eta: looking it up, i don't think i've seen the bibleman i posted? that's the new bibleman, who's not nearly as cool as the old one imo.
OH MY GOSH CYBERCHASE WAS GREAT i quite liked it, but it was never on. :c also: BEAR IN THE BIG BLUE HOUSE (specifically the computer game (there was one activity where you made sundaes with the mouse and we played it so much))
bear in the big blue house reminds me of this. also rolie polie olie and out of the box but i think that's just because they aired around the same time.
ROLIE POLIE OLLIE also!! There was a show!! that was hardly ever on but it was a craft show!! and he made these crafts and had a dresser with little people friends on it! and a different room that had tiny people that would lay don to make pretty designs from above!! and he had this giant wall of drawers in his craft room that each had different materials in them!! what was that shoooooow???
Youtube reminded me this show existed (if only ever on the cn? Mightve been nick website) and i used to adore it. Vendetta and her fiends made such a fun character, and then charlotte and her unending optimism was babbys first intro to a hero antagonist and ive been in love with the character type ever since.
I recently bought a TON of old PopCap games on Steam, because I was feeling the need to play some Peggle.
I used to watch Bob Ross when off school sick. A Bob binge is a good self soothe for me. Also the big games for my childhood. Mario 64, Fur Fighters, Spyro. There was a YouTube I had watched recently where it had a Spyro tune as the backing music and it hit me good in the nostalgia zone.
Reviving thread because I need to know: was anyone else obsessed with nick.com's clickamajig flash games? They don't exist on the site anymore but I loved them so much. BlAcK LiCoRiCe
