Both places designed for social interaction and conversation with (in certain circles, at least) a high concentration of mentally ill people, where it would cost you zero dollars to have consistent standards.

Also, this place isn't strictly mental illness and abuse talk. There's fandom, there's art, there's content sharing. It's a different platform in terms of formatting, sure, but not enough so for the ethics to be so dramatically different.
