I told one of my AA2 and Homestuck loving friends about the thread, and they made Vriska's 8-fold Vision. They wanted to share it, but didn't want to make a forum account just for the sake of posting it, so I'm sharing the details for it, as well as a whole bunch of other resources they were happy to share.

Spoiler: Advice and Warnings for using ReiEdit

A misconception a lot of people seem to have is that saved games are directly linked to saved cards. If you want to change a character, you need to adjust both your save file and your character's card.

When you go to File, there should be two buttons "Load Game Save" and "Load Standalone Characters."

Pretty self-explanatory.

Some things will appear blank if they're custom, like if you're using a personality mod then people of that personality will appear to have Personality: but it still works.

Same for whatever hair slots you have. It's all chill.

Be warned though that there's no reversing changes, so remember what your initial values were before changing them for good. Like if you're experimenting with hair colors, make note of what color it was originally in case you decide the first one was better after all.

Also, when you change a character's face, it shows up perfectly fine in-game but a lot of people say that it's glitching because they try to open the card in the editor. Extra face slots don't work in the editor. If you want to preview how it looks, open the editor and then there's a Display button. Click that to display. It's a preview.

Mod Installation + Use Instructions:
Download link for the stuff. The .pp file is dunked into the data folder, same as any other file, and the XML goes into ReiEdit\XML\Overrides.

After that, go into ReiEdit, open up your class, scroll down to Vriska's card and go to the Body tab. Under Body, go to Face, and Face Type. There should be a drop-down list there. At the bottom is "Vriska's Vision 8" so select that. There should also be eyebrow color there. Click on the eyebrow color, delete the hex code and then paste in #FFFFBA29 instead. Save, and there it is.
(Note: The Hexcode is correct, AA2 just requires that hexcodes start with an extra FF at the front.)

Also, my friend noticed a lack of variety in clothing and offers up a link to their favorite male clothing (here). They were also going to suggest the HEXA Clothing collection (for EX or MKII uncensors, For SVII uncensor; Both version include the same clothes) and HEXA Override collection, but realized that there'd be some issues (in Rue's game, at least) because of the gay mod.

Their explanation being-
"The clothing depends on uncensor. Actually, since they have the gay mod, I don't think they can use the clothing collection after all, the male-on-male mod is really outdated, it's from back when the modders were all so independent that a lot of the stuff clashed with each other"

and

"The male clothes should be okay since male clothes are uncensor-independent, but the clothing collection no. (...) Male clothes are uncensor-independent because every boy in this game goes commando and it's glorious"

I was aware of the male clothing but it wasn't a huge priority for me when I started. But why the hell not, let's get some variety for the guys. As for the yaoi mod, I'll just keep taking dudes into the shower.

Also, they commented that they think that the AI issues you're having might be due to the Hongfire Patch, but they don't know how you'd fix it, save for doing a clean install. ;-;

Edit: As in reinstalling the game all over since it worked fine at the very start.

 

My friend just told me that "As long as you save the character cards and class files (the data/save folder) and paste it back in after you reinstall, you won't lose any progress."

So hopefully that'll help if you do decide to try for a clean install.
