well, besides making an official introduction to myself, because this is the kind of community that i'd really like to actually become a part of, i just have the same kind of anxious thinking that makes me go "OH MAN HOW DO I EVEN START"

hi, everyone! i'm xenon/scooter, and i respond eagerly to any permutations of those. xenontrioxide on tumblr. student in the process of my doctoral work in developmental biology over at UCSF, so happy to answer you any questions about embryos or just generally rant about how cool biology or san francisco is.

this community seems like a really great place, and one i'm hoping to find a good place to settle in.
