Heh, I used to fall asleep on the bus all the time. Nobody has ever successfully followed the bus. They make it to like the third turn and suddenly they're on the opposite side of town, no bus in sight.
Shit, I think we all just hijacked our own thread. But it's our own thread, so we can do whatever we want. #I still want a lake and a giant squid #Except the lake is Salt #And the giant squid is a Cthulhu-esque monstrosity
At first I was antsy to dust off ancient Hogwarts OCs but now I'm doing the happy American Wizard School dance. I think I tried to start a story back in my tweens that was Definitely Not Hogwarts wizard school but it never went anywhere. I think I played a witch with a friend in a Salem Institute RP but canon info was short at the time (It'd been mentioned like once) and after a certain point it was barely even HP'verse. Not that that was a bad thing... "You're both wrong, it's a Tequila monster." #sorry not sorry, #I'm a Californian where the tequila flows like piss
A train came through the town today, listeners. No, it wasn't the subway system that we all were unfortunately hijacked onto just a few weeks ago, after which my beloved Carlos... *ahem* It was not the subway train, but rather the mysterious train that passes through our town every year just before the start of the school year, and also just after the end. Several sharp-eyed listeners were able to see many small forms inside, which they said were "probably children, locked deep in slumber." Old woman Josie's extremely tall friends informed us that they were, in fact, children with special powers, but we are unable to take anything they say seriously, since the Sheriff's secret police have strictly forbidden the knowledge of this train. Now listeners, does this mysterious and semiannual train have anything to do with the strange building we sometimes see in the distance, with its large and improbable lake, and the vicious and many-tentacled eldritch creature that lives in its depths? Probably not.
ok if you guys actually go with an american southwest wizarding school, i volunteer to play the probably-doomed defense against the dark arts teacher #i thought i was being a threadshitting nuisance #but apparently
I can do two writing styles decently: my own, and night vale's. I actually really like the idea of a semi-crossover southwestern wizarding school, especially since I can cast a little bit of shade on hogwarts while writing. And OMG field trips. Yes.
What about RPers that aren't in the Welcome to Nightvale fandom? Like, I've picked up some stuff through dash osmosis but I'm not at all in the actual fandom.
It could be mostly focused on the Southwest Wizarding School (God. need name), and references could be made, but it wouldn't be a solid crossover. As long as the lake creature is eldritch because god i need that like i need air
