my bff has just recently (as in the past 6 months) moved away from using a screen name she's used for nearly 15 years - and it's fairly unique, her first OC's name combined with her cat at the time's name. a couple of months ago I was shocked to see that screen name as part of a reblog chain in a post that crossed my dash. when I clicked on the blog, I discovered a person that was a LOT like bff but who varied in a few small ways and who was a couple years older. (We've known each other for over a decade and there was nothing on that blog that she'd be embarrassed for me to know and she has no time for social media anyway). I texted her like "yo I found a blog with (screenname)" and after she saw it we decided it was her Berenstain universe counterpart, brought here when the universes merged (we joke about that a lot). same screen name showed up as part of a different reblog chain from a different person today on my dash. shit's a little twilight zone.
