Huh. That's an interesting premise. One of those "tech enabled XX-only reproduction and this meant a woman-only culture" scenarios where our heroine meets a Last Man... But anime with very fantasy stuff going on too?

 

Something like that, I think, but with some Handmaid's Tale stuff where there are some dudes and they're using women solely for reproduction but our heroine lives underground with other girls and doesn't know about that. I think. I'm only about halfway through, so all I can say for sure is that the art is really really adorable and makes the occasional bout of graphic violence that much more disturbing.
