    Experience stacked up weird and numbers were annoying me, but DM didn't want us to go up two levels in two sessions, so he allowed me to take a penalty to make the numbers nice again :P In those two sessions, my character has: gotten stabbed near-fatally, had said near-fatal wound become plot-relevant, and somehow rolled three "miraculously good" encounters over what was supposed to be a tense flight across hostile territory.
