This may not be the right thread for Internet Sentences, but I had to put this somewhere:

 

that quote is a very confusing mess of brackets
i have seen not-confusing messes of brackets that were strange syntax speaker things

also speaking of odd syntax, a fic i read had a thing where the early translation efforts between the magic aliens and the humans involved a ton of synonyms

like, a short sentence would become a full paragraph because the translator character was covering all their bases with all the synonyms
