That reminds me of an idea I once had for a game. It’s a regular team-based multiplayer FPS like cs:go or call of duty, but each team also has one clown. The clown cannot kill and the clown cannot be killed. They’re armed with a variety of traditional clown paraphernalia, like ladders and buckets of paint and banana peels, and their goal is to use these to sabotage and distract the other team with various slapstick maneuvers. The role of team clown is assigned at random for each match. Everyone including non-clown players can customize their loadouts, but cosmetic items are only available for clowns.
