dinosaurs with agriculture, yeah, but i don't think No Big Bang is

i'm vaguely reminded of a few robert j. sawyer trilogies (the neanderthal parallax and the quintaglio ascension) but while in tnp, the neanderthals proved that the universe didn't start with a big bang, and in the quintaglio ascension, dinosaurs had civilization (but no agriculture 'cause carnivores), i don't think either of the series had both the things described in the quote.

Me texting my writer-spouse about The Good Dinosaur. Watched it with my family for the first time tonight and was definitely NOT expecting a family of farmer apatosauruses and cowboy T-Rex fighting off cattle rustling velociraptors. Really cute movie, though!

i honestly wasn't expecting that either, haha. (though that might be 'cause i was hoping it would be similar to the quintaglio ascension for some reason, even though the only thing those things have in common is Non-Extinct Dinosaurs.)

i still don't understand the No Big Bang part, though. i don't think the movie said anything about that. unless you're confusing it with the meteor that killed the dinosaurs, which isn't called the big bang...
