Most of the time, yeah, to avoid the contrast medium befuckening someone's slightly malfunctioning thyroid real good by using a iodid-containing contrast. I believe our internists actually have it as a standard parameter upon admittance Just In Case
in better news: nearly finished page five of the legion-pov fic and according to my dedicated readership of two (2) people I'm doing ok!
*shrug* it's the same vial they do for the other lab to so it's just another parameter so it's not really more effort for the patient
loooooove the norsehell campaign, the characters are mostly 'confused and rolling with it', Matt charmed a bear, we're already taking bets on who's gonna smooch first (aeron and aglfyr, no doubt) and we've just walked into an abandoned village which will doubtless contain things to fight! Also Maikel refused a warm, freshly skinned bear pelt to wear on grounds of ick. Despite the fact that Maikel is out in the norse winter without a shirt. I love his idiot ass so much.
Given how very many of my friends who were later diagnosed had absolutely no idea they had hypothyroid issues before I started describing symptoms, and how drastically it fucks pretty much every aspect of quality of life (even ability to positively perceive flavors in food in one person’s case, which may have been connected to appetite or some mysterious olfaction shenanigans, we just don’t know), I’m cheering greatly for an abundance of thyroid caution.
Ssss thoughts: Spoiler Man nordic Winter gotta me mcfreaking terrifying with the beasts (since those don't 'Nest' like trolls do) and the spirits. Especially the latter who only seem to be held at bay by sunlight and warding runes. Vaguely related: please let reynir have some satisfaction and recognition for this runes, the boy needs validation so badly, and they work! He made magical landmines and all that!
... i mean tbh silk is much more sensible for cold weather than a light cotton would be? Silk is the great equalizer of temperature, it will always help, either wicking sweat away and cooling you, or keeping air next to your skin and warming you. That's why i like it so much, besides being an extra bitch :P
this is the tits out party matt and agylfr because they don't take cold damage, and maikel for the #aesthetic
Trying out the 1000 Milihelens mask from lush because Wrangling The Skin Condition. Fomo is still the fave for fixing the itch, but this one smells really nice and the texture is a lot better than birth of venus so if maybe it helps the face-scales issue i'd be happy with it. Still wanna try some of the other because options are nice.
'Usually' we're like one sesh into stacking them. But i am looking forward to seeing them stacked everywhere.
