Progress on Soundy2: chest Front constructed, both legs finished, therefore ahead of schedule! Still no Ravage mats, the shipping time is killing meeee, i wanna start on my tiny kitty
PAKIGE ARRIVED immediately went to start on Ravage! so behold: itty bitty kitty leggy Yes those 'Con symbols are still the size of my thumb.
Soundy 2 is done! Ravage 2 should be done tomorrow and then i can 1) mail hkm to Verily 2) take a break Doing two plushies from scratch with two weeks is Too Much and my arm muscles are disapproving of me
Uuurggh annoyed with myself and perfectionism I made the first leg today, and the foot somehow ended up too large. Not a lot, and it's prolly cause the white fleece has more stretch than the blue But it was too big! And i got any easy enough fix for it, and intellectually i know that someone who's not seen it made will probably never notice But it's still upsetting me because Not Perfect. Even though this is the first part after two whole soundys that doesn't fit from the getgo. It's just annoying meeeee
Soundy3's head is doooone. So hopefully over the weekend, i can attempt final assembly and start on ravage3
soundy3 and ravage3 have reached their new home and are safe i have started a new project, this one more utilitarian. My metal frame bed keeps eating things by dropping them behind the bed, so i'm sewing some screening to weave between the bars and tie in place to keep it there. it's going well so far except i still don't have a sewing machine so I am gearing up to fucking....sew and hem like 12m of seam by hand. Time to Git Gud. also gonna have to buy more thread at some point
additional projects: autumn leaf border on long white skirt. shelved until at least october, mum promised me all her old crossstich mats so I can have like a million shades of embroidery yarn Knockout Plushie. I am slowly assembling mats for it, but it's more of a winter project, I think. Still need red felt, more red thread and more self confidence. Building the pattern will be...something.
Making good progress on the first panel! One of the short sides is closed, two straps are sewn in and frankly i'm going a lot faster than i thought i would? Work permitting, i might be able to finish two sides entirely today...
Feels good to level up the skills too. I'm no sewing maching, but thinfs are looking neater. Not the seaming, mind, but that's just to stop the fraying so who cares?
