for me it was the fifth ep i think. the suspense when nancy and john were looking for the monster. the rest has been okay though?

also i'm done w ep 6 and yes jonathan's thing 4 nancy has finally been addressed. i'm not really Here 4 any romance but i do like john loads better than i like steve despite the fact that john beat steve up but then again steve has been harassing him for ages and he did say awful things about nancy and john's family sooooo it's also kinda understandable that it happened. i feel kinda bad for steve in the sense that even if he's a douche i don't think anyone deserves to get beaten up but i will admit that seeing nancy slap him for being a douche was Very Satisfying. i'm gonna watch ep 7 and then probably watch 8 and 9 tomorrow.

.........steve is actually calling out his jerky friends for being jerky.
i mean. i think he's also blaming them for losing him the girl he likes, and like. he's still kinda sleazy (and i *still* like jonathan better than him). but. i guess he gets the "not as much of an asshole as you could have been" award.
(i might actually be kinda disappointed if he dies. but mostly i want him to continue to stand up to his asshole friends and DO SOMETHING w himself. preferably far away from nancy unless steve were to still make her happy)

i am now Highly Concerned about will. also the idea that he was in castle byers the whole time (minus when he went to visit his mom) makes sense bc the dog knew to go there way back in an earlier ep and according to info dogs/animals in general are more attuned to the supernatural than we are. also sadface :( that barb is 100% officially dead. i mean. i kinda figured since she got dragged back into Hell Pool by The Evil Thing but. still. it sucks b/c i liked her. i am also Concerned about nancy and jonathan, who are Going Out to Kill The Beast. considering some possible spoilers i read re: nancy i'm p sure that the Gang of Kids ends up having to go into the Upside Down after n&j. the spoilers were vague but i think that it mentioned that one of the kids' sisters went missing??? and nancy's literally the only sister character who gets much screentime so. yeah.

also lol @ nancy and mike's inability to be honest about their feelings for the ppl they like. granted nancy's interest in john is proooobs mostly bc they bonded over a traumatic experience, but john still interests me way more than steve does even if steve is actually cleaning up his act now so i still like that ship better. mostly tho i am here for The Power of Friendship+mysteries+the supernatural junk.

??? i still don't know why i don't like steve/nancy but if he makes her happy then i guess it's ok??? also i guess if jonathan is happy being by himself that's cool too, i mostly wanted him and nancy to be friends and they seem to sorta be friends here so. *shrugs*
(i could probably get behind jonathan/nancy/steve tbh but this is set in the 80s so no ot3 for me i guess)
ALSO WHAT THE HECK IS HOPPER DOING W THAT FOOD???? i saw eggos soooooo is eleven....okay???? ??? inquiring minds would like to know

 

i am done w episode 8. that is a really good series but ???? THERE ARE STILL THINGS I NEED TO KNOW
good thing this show is getting another season.
