I'd love a link when you get the chance, if you could!
Thank you so much! It has been reblogged. :3
I had a very cold pupper in my lap for about an hour today sharing body heat. It was only about 50 degrees but she’s a tiny dog and didn’t have a sweater.
Me: get this baby some onions
Me: ‘Cause she’s a chilly dog
I can’t recall if I’ve shared this one or not. The version my dad told me as a kid was probably a bit different, but I only remember the gist, so here’s a retelling.
There was once a man living in a somewhat impoverished village of grass huts. He was a small-time politician, and held a lot of power in this tiny village, which he used to care for his people as best he could. So of course, when the king of his country paid the town a visit, he and the politician struck up a rapport.
The king, a generous man, was so impressed by how well he was running the village that, in addition to donating a large sum of money and plenty of food to the villagers, as well as beginning to build them nicer homes, he gave him a lavish throne. The throne was quite heavy, and the king warned him to only store it on the ground floor of his grass house until he moved into the nicer place, which was still being built.
Unfortunately, the politician was a bit cocky at times, and did not heed his warning. Just a week after getting the throne, it crashed through the ceiling, landing right on the poor guy and crushing him to death.
The moral of this story?
People who live in grass houses shouldn’t stow thrones.
the name of the game Open Sorcery is a pun on open source (it's a game with a developing magitech AI named BEL/S as the player character)
the holiday DLC that is coming out at some point is called Jingle BEL/S
the sequel is called Open Sorcery 2: Sea++
What kind of cheese do you use to lure a bear out of its cave?
It's pretty strong though so you need bearly any.
If this post were a plate of food then

OH MY FUCKING GOD
When you don't know what to say then you're at a...
From my stats book: "Such findings spawned the extremely bad bilingual pun 'Something is fishy in the Hudson--the Poisson has failed.'"
The French word Poisson translates to fish in English. The Poisson Distribution is used for modelling populations of animals often, and in the case that a population DOESN'T follow that distribution, something is Weird.
