"Could I get your signature miss Sherry?" Raven asked, proffering the form. "Your packages are right over there." He said pointing to a small pile of boxes with various medical insignia on them. "Would you like any help carrying them back?"

 

Scheherazade smiled warmly, produced a ballpoint pen from somewhere in the depths of her hair, and scrawled something on the form that bore absolutely no resemblance to any form of the English language. Once finished, she replaced the pen and her hair extended itself in delicate, questing tendrils as it picked up five of the wrapped boxes, casually tossing the sixth and last into her hands.

"No thank you, I think I've got everything. It's not like I have to hurry, none of the supplies were perishable. This is, but it's a personal item so I can eat it here," She admitted cheerfully, unwrapping the box in her hands to reveal a small container of colorful fruit cookies.

 

"Ah, would you like something to sit on? I have another chair around here somewhere." Raven said, gesturing towards his a.t.v. It looked like the only package left was the ridiculously heavy one ordered by someone named snitch, which was slowly sinking into the concrete, which had spawned a spiral of cracks slowly extending themselves around it.

"Nnnnot on that, I think, but thank you for the offer," Scheherazade said carefully.

 

"Huh? Oh, i meant I have another chair stashed in the saddlebags, assuming I remembered to pack it." Raven said, realizing she thought he'd been suggesting she sit on the atv. "I can grab it if you'd like to sit down while you eat."

 

"That was last time. Rainbows is doing very well in time out by the way!" Ivy loved their pet-dragon so much. The pet just didn't... really love everyone else so much. Or buildings. Or the concept of sharing a space with other living beings. Or the concept of not spitting acid all over the place and then somehow managing to find out the acid was flammable and the spitting burning acid all over everything. The pet disliked a lot of things.

 

Watching the large mass of tentacles pick up the box and disappear it into itself was somewhat distressing, especially since it had burned out the motors on his strongest mech while it was being loaded, and then broke them again when it was being unloaded."Right." Raven stammered. "I forgot about that box in all the excitement." Raven said. "If I could get your signature on this form?" Raven said, standing up and holding out a his holo pad and a small pen. He might be a bit intimidated, but damned if he wasn't going to collect his delivery payment for anything from Space Amazon.

 

"I don't really care who's a citiczen of where, I'm not even sure if i'm a galactic citizen technically." Raven said. He took the pad back, setting it in his bag. "Will you need any help taking the larger box back to where you live? I could have one of my mechs take it for you." Raven said. He doubted that the mass of tentacles that he was speaking with would need it, considering what it, or they? Had done with the other package. It was of course, still polite to offer, since he had made the offer to everyone else.

 

"The mech, or the box?" Raven asked.

 

"Ah, right, The box is right over there." Raven said, pointing at the still open box sitting on the pavement.

 

Raven watched snitch leave. What an odd colony

 

A few hours later, and nobody else had shown up. Scheherazade was still there, either working on her box of cookies or enjoying the view, Raven wasn't quite sure. He decided to follow the others back to the main colony, maybe he could find some parts to buy or trade for down there. He passed the mech that had followed Ivy down as it was just leaving the edge of town. He was standing on the edge of a large town square, wondering where he should go next.
