like we've seen it used to attack and kill and all that. and we've seen it used in ways to preserve an entity's existence (usually their own and at great cost elsewhere). but have we seen it used to defend others before?

It seems like those who attain such powers aren't usually inclined to do things for others' benefits anymore, off the top of my head I can't think of a time either.

I like this comic a lot. It is About Things while also being a lot of fun, and it casts its net for inspiration wider than most fantasy, with excellent results.

I would particularly like to point out that on page Breaker of Infinities 1-8, Incubus's dialog is basically Abbadon turning directly to the reader and saying "Hey, things are about to get extremely rad around here."

Good question. I'm reasonably confident that it's not going to happen, but I'm not sure what would happen if she did. I think that if she could, and if it would work, she would have done it to the other demiurges a long time ago.
