like i'm in the middle of a depressive episode rn bo, i did not need this from you

 

i had a dream i got this really cute lil purple birb and named it wingo but it was a dream and now i wokexup and do not have a purple bird called wingo

like bo listen man i get through the day by NOT asking myself these questions, what gives you the right to soften me up with jokes then suckerpunch me right in the emotional stability when i'm not expecting it

I tried to make myself food because I needed food but nothing registered as food and I eventually decided to just make mushroom soup anyway but we were out of mushroom soup so okay fine I'll eat tomato soup even though it sounds not good right now but it would be better with starch so I decided to try making pasta with it but I couldn't figure out how and mom came into the kitchen and made noise and didn't understand why I was upset and then after a minute or so, after she understood that I was upset she washed something in the sink which is hell to my ears when she does it and then she passive aggressively said something about how she keeps leaving the dishwasher there, not telling us to do it so well catch on and do it without being told.

I'm so upset right now

I've been talking to someone I'm going on a date with Monday. We commented on how the Immortan Joe from Mad Max: Fury Road looks like Trump in 15 years, and we're gonna get plunged into the Mad Max world if we elect him. She said that she wanted to be one of the cool hippie Grandma ladies, and I asked if I could be Furiousa. I commented on how I love her cropped hair and should probably try that. Her response?

"You should! You're already beautiful, you'd just need to cut your hair."

I was bullied a lot about my looks by one of my abusers. I've often felt hideously ugly and spent years not looking in mirrors because I didn't want to see myself. So to hear someone I admire call me beautiful really hit me right in the feelings.

 

I am not a particularly weepy person but my god, Creata wrecked mewhen the Homestuck Vol. 10 album dropped. It was the full choir that did it, not just because I will always be moved by a choir in perfect harmony, or because that in particular was so poignant and perfectly done, or even because it was the Homestuck finale music, although those were all factors.

No, it's that one bit with the single voice that intro's the children's choir, it got me because it smacked me in the heart with the nostalgia hammer by reminding of the Civilizations 4 opening of all things.


And you know what the great part is that it's so fitting? Starting a new planet and founding civilization because of a game, how perfect is that?

I cried remembering Wind Waker was the only LOZ game I've beat and remembering how beautiful it is.

also am i the only person with two dedicated tags on my blog for "things i have cried at?" the best part is that i have a cried at so much stuff that i forget to tag it with those two tags, if you search "cry"/"crying" you get a lot of results man

i also have a text file on my computer with a list of movies that i've cried at (i had to limit it to just movies, because if i listed all the books/tv shows/etc then first i can't remember them all, second we'd be here like all day). i haven't updated it in a couple years but some highlights include: practically every children's movie ever especially Pixar Movies (Up kills me from the beginning and comes back to do it again near the end and doesn't stop omg, Inside Out personally victimized me cuz i watched it after i had moved, with my cousins, and i sobbed basically through the whole thing??) and most especially Kung Fu Panda like i cannot deal, several weird indie movies, the part of the Simpsons Movie where Homer & Marge are considering divorcing (like i am not even that much into the Simpsons that type of plot just fucks me up) anything about mother/daughter or father/daughter bonds, Dead Poets Society (and then again after Robin Williams died), Pacific Rim because i had a bulldog named max who looked just like the one in the movie without brown spots and he had died a couple years before i saw the movie, uhhh...

also the ending of Journey makes me sob, when the music swells it's just so beautiful and emotional how am i crying this hard no one speaks in this fucking game

and the portal fanfic blue sky, which was so beautiful it caused me physical pain
