I went out to dinner with some friends earlier tonight and now my eye makeup is migrating down my face. I don't usually wear water soluble mascara, but when I do, I make sure to read heartbreaking news stories.

 

Well, you know, it's an easy way to get rid of the mascara at least?

So I read a fic in which character A didn't realize that character B asking him out was for a date, which character B realized partway through the date and was really crushed about, and I just cried over it, even though it was happily resolved like three paragraphs later. Sometimes I wonder about myself.

 

"Gonna get Dad to watch Fury Road, it'll be great!"

lasted about five minutes into the movie before having to fight back inexplicable tears

Someone reblogged that big article about Bikers Against Child Abuse and it made me cry just thinking about it (and now that I'm mentioning it here I'm crying again because BACA is amazing).

 

I have little context for adventure time stuff anymore but this clip is making me weepy

Although it might just be my brain because i was crying over an empty box of toothpaste earlier as well, because it was blue

 

I've never had much context for Adventure Time, but sometimes it makes me weepy anyway. This song, for instance (starting at about 30s):



There's other versions recorded in studios with proper equipment rather than at a convention table with a crowd and people being silly, but I rather like this one.

 

i tried watching adventure time 'cause i saw that it had feelsy stuff, but i ended up bouncing off it 'cause it seemed to have no internal logic at all.
